1) 2Cu + O2 = 2CuO (when copper interacts with oxygen, copper oxide is formed);
2) CuO + H2SO4 = CuSO4 + H2O (when copper oxide interacts with sulfuric acid, copper sulfate and water are formed);
3) CuSO4 + 2NaOH = Cu (OH) 2 + Na2SO4 (when copper sulfate interacts with sodium hydroxide, copper hydroxide and sodium sulfate are formed);
4) Cu (OH) 2 = CuO + H2O (when calcium hydroxide decomposes, copper oxide and water are formed);
5) CuO + H2 = Cu + H2O (when copper oxide interacts with hydrogen, copper and water are formed).
