Carry out the transformation: A14C3 – CH4 – CH3C1 – C4H10 – C4H8 – C4H8 – C4H9C1 – C4H8C12

Let’s make the equations:
Al4C3 + 12H2O = 3CH4 + 4Al (OH) 3 – hydrolysis;
CH4 + Cl2 = CH3Cl + HCl – chloromethane is formed;
2СН3Cl + 2Na = C4H10 + 2NaCl – Wurtz reaction, butane is released;
C4H10 = C4H8 + H2 – dehydrogenation, butene formed;
C4H8 + HCl = C4H9Cl – addition, butane chloride was obtained;
C4H9Cl + Cl2 = C4H8Cl2 + HCl – substitution, dichlobutane is formed.
These reactions show the bond between alkanes and alkenes. Halogenated derivatives – methane chloride, butane chloride, dichlorobutane are used as solvents.
