| 1) Fe + H2SO4 = FeSO4 + H2 (when iron interacts with sulfuric acid, iron sulfate and hydrogen are formed);
2) FeSO4 + 2NaOH = Fe (OH) 2 + Na2SO4 (when iron sulfate interacts with sodium hydroxide, iron hydroxide and sodium sulfate are formed);
3) Fe (OH) 2 = FeO + H2O (when iron decomposes in the presence of a catalyst, iron (II) oxide and water are formed).
