Causes of the French Revolution and the result.

There were such reasons for the revolution:

1) Contradictions between the bourgeoisie and royal power;

2) A significant mouth of wealth and privileges of the third estate;

3) There was government oppression of the population;

4) The emergence of the ideas of Enlightenment, which led to doubt the privileges of the nobles, etc.

5) Unprofitable trade agreement with England, which opened the French markets to English merchants;

6) Financial crisis in the state.

Results of the revolution:

1) the collapse of the old monarchical order;

2) France was turned into a republican state;

3) The capitalist system began to develop;

4) Napoleon came to power.
