Causes of the Neolithic Revolution.

By “revolution” historians understand a qualitative leap in the development of human society, which lead to qualitative changes in everyday life and economy.

The changes that took place during the Neolithic period can rightfully be called a revolution.

First, human society has moved from an appropriating economy (hunting and gathering) to a producing one (agriculture and cattle breeding). Naturally, this has significantly improved food security.

Secondly, the first artificial material appears – ceramics, from which they began to make dishes, which changed the diet. In addition to raw and fried food, people began to use boiled food.

Thirdly, for the first time, mankind has adapted nature to suit its needs and requirements. It was in the Neolithic that the foundations for the emergence of the first civilizations were laid.
