Causes of the outbreak of the Vietnam War of Independence 1946-1954.

The original cause of the Vietnam War was the uprising of citizens in South Vietnam, in other words, the war was civil. The cause of the uprising was the Vietnam War of Independence, since before that they were a French colony. After a while, North Vietnam was also involved in the war.

On the part of the countries of the world, North Vietnam enlisted the support of the PRC and the USSR, and South Vietnam – the United States and allied countries. In parallel with the events in Vietnam, there were wars in Cambodia and Laos, which as a result received the general name of the 1950-1975 wars as the Second Indochina War.
