Characteristics of all climatic zones of Eurasia.

There are 7 climatic zones in Eurasia: these are Arctic, Subarctic, Moderate, Subtropical, Tropical, Subequatorial, Equatorial.
Characteristic:
The Arctic zone is located in the northern regions of the mainland. Dry wind and low air temperatures (all year round) are recorded here. Average temperatures: in summer about 0 °, in winter – -30 ° and below. Strong winds prevail here, and since the clouds obstruct the sunlight, the inhabitants live practically in darkness (there are not many sunny days). There is a lot of precipitation, mainly in the form of snow.
This is followed by the subarctic belt. It is located in the Far North and also covers the Chukotka, Scandinavian Peninsula, as well as Iceland. The maximum temperature in summer is + 15 °, because in summer, moderate air masses prevail here, in winter, arctic ones. The subarctic zone is warmer than the arctic.
The largest area of Eurasia is occupied by the temperate belt. It includes several areas:
1.zone with a maritime climate. Due to the humid Antlantic air, a maritime climate prevails here. Average indicators: in winter 0 °, in summer + 16 °. Precipitation – up to 1000 mm per year.
2. Moderate continental. It has cold winters and mild summers. Average indicators: -7 ° in winter, about + 20 ° in summer. Annual precipitation is 900 mm.
3. Continental. It has cold winters and warm summers. Average indicators: in winter up to -20 °, in summer up to + 24 °. Precipitation is up to 400 mm per year.
4. sharply continental. There is a bright contrast in temperatures. The maximum summer temperature exceeds 45-50 °
5. Musonic. It is influenced by the air masses of the Pacific Ocean. Average indicators: in winter to -14 °. Precipitation is 900 mm per year.
The subtropical region is located in the territory from the Pyrenees to the Pacific Ocean in the eastern part. In winter, humid and cool air masses prevail here, while in summer the weather is hot and dry.
The tropical zone is located on the territory of the Arabian Peninsula. Dry air masses prevail here, which contribute to a small amount of precipitation. The average daily temperature in summer is + 50 °, in winter + 20 °.
The subequatorial zone is located on the territory of the Indochina and Hindustan peninsulas, and slightly affects the Philippine Islands. In summer, moist and warm airy masses prevail here.
The equatorial belt covers the Greater Sunda Islands. Hot air masses dominate here, and it seems as if there is eternal summer here. Precipitation is 2000 mm per year.
