Characteristics of the natural complex of the desert.

Deserts are some of the largest natural areas on the planet. They form in places with hot and very dry climates, where annual precipitation ranges from 200 to 300 mm per year. In deserts, due to the lack of moisture, there are almost no continuous vegetation covers, and constant solar radiation and winds lead to soil degradation. It loses organic particles, only mineral sand remains (in some places, sand is replaced by clay or gravel). The largest desert on Earth is the Sahara.
