What can the snow that fell at night tell us? A lot of things! Here, for example, small, shallow traces, like a dashed line – it was the mouse that ran. But – an even line of deep footprints – this is a fox. There are also single footprints – it was a cone that fell from a tree, leaving a round depression. In the snow, you can also see dry seeds and bark of trees that were blown away by the wind. And when a person passes through the fresh snow or an animal runs, these seeds will surely fall into his tracks and germinate the next year.
