Chronological framework of the Neolithic.

The Neolithic was identified as a separate chronological period in the 19th century. The Neolithic, or “New Stone Age” spanned the period from the 7th millennium BC to the 18th century BC.
It was characterized by the improvement of stone processing and the discovery of new materials, which led to the transition from appropriating to producing economy. It was during the Neolithic period that the first agricultural cultures appeared on earth, cattle breeding appeared, and people began to use the first artificial material – ceramics. These changes in human life were later called the “Neolithic revolution”
