| The cyclist rides at a speed of 10 m / s. Which way will it travel in 1 minute? How long would it take it to travel the same path if it moved at a speed of 20 m / s?
Given:
V1 = 10 m / s – the speed of the cyclist;
t1 = 1 min = 60 s – movement time;
V2 = 20 m / s.
It is required to find the path of the cyclist S, as well as the time that he would have spent on the path S at the speed V2.
S = V1 * t1 = 10 * 60 = 600 m.
t2 = S / V2 = 600/20 = 30 s.
Answer: a cyclist will travel a distance of 600 meters. It would take 30 seconds.
