Common features and differences between humid equatorial forests and savannas.

There is not much in common between savannas and equatorial forests, except that there is no winter in both natural zones and temperatures are relatively high throughout the year. But there are a lot of differences: in the savannas, precipitation occurs in seasons and there is a drought season, and in the equatorial forests it rains all year round. The forests are dominated by broadleaf trees, while the savannah is dominated by tall grass and shrubs. Trees are rare. This also affects the fauna, in the savannah animals are much larger in size.
