Common goals of the countries that were part of the Triple Alliance and the Entente.

The Triple Alliance included countries that considered themselves deprived during the colonial division of the world. So Germany, Austria-Hungary and Italy set as their goal as a result of the war to seize the lands belonging to the European colonial powers. They were opposed by the Entente, an alliance that included the metropolitan countries, Great Britain, France and Russia. The goal of the Entente countries was to preserve their position in the world arena and their colonial lands.
