Compare bacteria and protists.

Protists are unicellular eukaryotes belonging to the Plants, Animals and Fungi kingdoms. And bacteria are prokaryotes.

Similarities:

– consist of one cell;

– the cell is separated from the external environment by a membrane;

– the internal environment of the cell – cytoplasm;

– Of the organelles, the common are ribosomes and organelles of movement (flagella, cilia);

– the carrier of hereditary information – DNA.

Differences:

– in protist chromosomes are located in the nucleus, in prokaryotes instead of the nucleus – a nucleoid;

– in protists, in addition to ribosomes, and membrane organelles.
