Compare conscript military service and contract military service. What is the difference between them?

The most important difference between conscription service and contract service is that conscription service is an honorable right and duty of a citizen, namely, the obligation to pay back his debt to the Motherland, to learn how to defend it. Service under the contract is not an obligation, it is a person’s personal desire to devote his life or part of his life to the military profession. It’s just a job that pays good money now. The conscription service, of course, is also paid, but the amount of this payment cannot be compared. In addition, while serving on conscription, the soldier lives in the barracks and does not have the opportunity to freely leave the unit, unlike a contract soldier. And, finally, there is criminal responsibility for evading conscription, and for the lack of desire to serve under a contract (before the signing of the contract, and not after) no sanctions are provided in our state.
