Compare eukaryotes and prokaryotes.

Eukaryotes and prokaryotes are two different types of cells. Eukaryotes evolved from prokaryotes. They have a nucleus and cellular elements surrounded by membranes. These are lysosomes, vacuoles, the Golgi complex and others. Prokaryotes don’t have this. They don’t have a core. Genetic material moves freely throughout the cell. But despite the fact that eukaryotes are more advanced, prokaryotes exist to this day. They are much less numerous than eukaryotic cells. That is, in the course of evolution, they did not disappear, since they are needed by the biological system.
