On the other hand, Napoleon walked across Europe, who for some time liquidated many monarchies, including the Austrian one. All this became the reason that in the following years national movements began to emerge in different parts of Europe. This led to the liberation struggle in Italy, Germany, the Balkans, France – after the restoration of the Bourbons, even Austria had to reckon with the Hungarians.
