In the climatic conditions of South and North America, one can observe both some similarities and differences. The main similarity is the presence of subequatorial, tropical and subtropical wetlands on both continents. The only difference is that in South America these regions occupy more space than in North America. Another difference is that in North America, most of the temperate zone and there is also a polar zone, while in South America, the temperate zone occupies a small area, and there is no polar zone at all.
