Compare the development of fish and amphibians, amphibians and reptiles.

Both fish and amphibians hatch from eggs in water. But fish spawn eggs, and frogs lay them. From fish eggs, fry appear, which already in appearance are similar to adult fish, and fry of frogs – tadpoles, more likely resemble small fish than frogs. Both fish larvae and tadpoles live in water.
Females of reptiles, unlike females of amphibians, lay eggs, not eggs. Small cubs of reptiles hatch from eggs, which are a small copy of their adult relatives.
