The houses of the poor were built from blocks of reed and clay. The houses themselves were rather primitive, as was the interior decoration. The house could have several lavas and a table, as well as one or two rooms. Basically, these were one-story houses.

The houses of the rich were built from bricks that were burned out of clay in the sun. These were large mansions, richly decorated and varied in decorations / amenities. Every rich man had servants in the house who cleaned, cooked food, looked after the children. What the poor did not have.
