Compare the events that brought the communists to power in Poland and Czechoslovakia. What are their similarities? what is the difference?

In both Poland and Czechoslovakia, communist governments came to power after World War II. The Communists were supported by the USSR, but the degree of this support was different: in Poland, Soviet troops and structures provided large-scale assistance, and in Czechoslovakia, support for the USSR was minimal, there were no troops at all. This is also related to the number of victims – in Poland they are more numerous.

Also, the differences are that the Polish communists came to power through the interim government, immediately gaining a majority. In Czechoslovakia, because of the political crisis, during which the government gradually became communist, and also managed to preserve the constitution, the president and the multi-party system (although some parties simply supported the communists).
