Compare the features of the political structure of the Ancient East and antiquity.

Unlike the Ancient East, which was characterized by a despotic approach to power, the ancient Greeks chose the path of democracy. In states such as Ancient Egypt or China, one person was in power, whom the people associated with a deity. Therefore, the power of such a ruler was considered undeniable. In Greece (and then in Rome), decisions were made jointly, it was there that the practice of voting was first introduced. Therefore, power was not usurped by one person, but belonged to the people.
