Compare the historical circumstances in which the fascist movement arose in Italy and the National Socialist movement in Germany? What was common? what were the differences?
Fascists in Italy actually appeared after the end of the First World War and the consequences that it brought. The Nazi movement also began in the 1920s, but acted with varying success – in contrast to them, the Nazis came to power much faster. The people were dissatisfied with their position, income, life in both countries. However, it is worth noting that in Weimar Germany there was another problem that was unusual for Italy – there was anger at the external environment, which put pressure on Germany, accused them of all the sins of the past war and forced them to pay exorbitant payments of indemnities.
