Differences. To begin with, firstly, in the process of photosynthesis, synthesis occurs, mainly of carbohydrates. Further, during photosynthesis, the energy of sunlight is used. In the process of matrix protein synthesis, the process occurs in the cell, namely on the ribosomes of the wide areas of the endoplasmic reticulum. Photosynthesis, on the other hand, occurs in chloroplast grains and is divided into a dark and light phase, the processes of which are still not fully understood (for example, the nature of ATP synthase and the passage of hydrogen protons through it in the Krebbs cycle).
