Pericles in mid. 5c introduced such reforms as the abolition of the property qualification, and Solon was on the contrary for its introduction. Pericles also introduced the payment of posts when Solon was for equality and the petition of all debts and forbade borrowing and lending in order to improve the situation in the country.
