Compare the religion of the ancient Romans and Christianity.

The beliefs of the Romans were very different from Christianity. First, the Romans did not have only God, as in Christianity, but had separate deities, with limited functions. That is, the concept of one almighty God was not part of their tradition. Second, the Romans, like the Greeks, did not have scriptures like the Christian Bible. Although individual legends about deities could have been written down, everything else was repeated based on oral traditions. Each deity had its own holidays, gifts and priests.
