Compare the structure of plant cells. Determine the cell in which photosynthesis is possible.

Distinctive features of a plant cell are: the presence of a strong cell wall made of cellulose; the presence of plastids (chloroplasts, chromoplasts, leukoplasts), as well as the presence of a large vacuole filled with cell sap.
In a cell that is capable of photosynthesis there are special organelles – chloroplasts. They have a green color due to a special pigment – chlorophyll. It has a proteinaceous nature and contains magnesium. It is in chloroplasts, in their stroma (internal contents) and on thillakoids (“coins” of the inner membrane) that photosynthesis takes place.
