Compare the two sciences – history and archeology. What do they have in common or how do they differ?

History and archeology are two similar sciences, the only difference between them is that history is engaged in different research, hypotheses or comparison of facts, building a logical chain of certain events, but archeology is engaged in the study of territories where ancient settlements, buildings, cities were located etc. The task of history is to establish the truth in this or that event, and the task of archeology is to find evidence of something by conducting various kinds of excavations. They depend on each other.
