Comparison of the situation of blacks and Indians after the civil war.

After the Civil War, blacks were finally able to get their freedom. At the same time, the Americans began to conduct regular raids against the Indians. They were constantly pushed back into the country, destroyed settlements, killed children and the elderly. Often the Indians revolted, but the forces were not equal. The final battle took place in 1890, when the Indians suffered a decisive defeat. Then the Americans drove them into special territories, which were named – reservations. After which the government established its guardianship over them.
