Comparisons, similarities and differences between the common viper and the snake.

If we compare the common viper and the snake, we will see both similar features and different ones. They are similar in that both species are creeping reptiles and live in a similar area: in forests, meadows, near water bodies. Differences are observed in size – snakes are longer and thinner than vipers; in color – the snakes have yellow spots on the sides of the head, the viper does not have them; in the shape of a head – triangular in vipers, oval in snakes; the vipers are poisonous, no; snakes are not aggressive compared to the viper; the snakes do not have poisonous teeth, the viper does.
