Consequence of the Norman conquest of England.

In 1066, the conqueror Welhelm was able to defeat the king of the Anglo-Saxons in battle, and thus he seized power over most of England. Now a new one has come to power in England – the Norman dynasty. The unoccupied territories were the lands of Ireland and some regions in England. We can say that then there was a unification of all England, which before that consisted of several kingdoms.
