Culture in modern society.

In modern society, the emphasis is on the mass character of culture. This includes films and pop music, magazines, newspapers, book fiction, various entertainment programs on TV and radio. Elite culture is less common. Of course, there are still connoisseurs of theaters, ballet, opera, art galleries and classical music, but there are still fewer of them. Folk culture has the lowest percentage. Apart from folk festivals, elements of this type of culture are nowhere to be found.
