Denmark and Finland have roughly the same population size. Using atlas maps, determine which of these countries has the highest average population density. Explain why.

Denmark, except for the arctic, almost lifeless island of Greenland, is quite small in area. But it is located in the central part of Europe, on the southern shores of the Baltic Sea. The climate there is quite moderate and people have always willingly settled and lived.
The territory of Finland is almost 8 times larger than the Danish possessions, but the climate there is much more severe, the proximity of the polar latitudes affects. Living conditions are much more difficult, therefore Finns are less densely distributed than Danes.
