Characteristic features are computerization, production automation. The social structure retains social differentiation, a high level of mobility, a huge variety of social roles, and an increase in the size of the middle class. Science and continuing education play a special role. In the political sphere, civil societies, the rule of law and pluralism prevail. In the spiritual realm, mass culture and postmodernism are important. It is worth mentioning globalization, which affects absolutely the whole world and all spheres of society. In the information society, it is gaining large scale.
