Describe how the mitosis division process occurs?

Mitosis is the multiplication of autosomal cells, that is, not gametes.
Interphase occurs before mitosis. In this phase, DNA replication takes place and nutrients and energy are accumulated, the number of centrioles and organelles doubles.
The first stage is prophase (2n4c). The nuclear envelope and the nucleus with nucleoli disappear in it. Chromatids spiralize, centrioles diverge to different poles of the cell, a division spindle and its filaments are formed.
The second phase is metaphase (2n4c). In it, the chromosomes are aligned along the equator, the spindle threads are attached to the centromeres of the chromosomes. The third phase is anaphase (4n4c). In it, the filaments of the fission spindle contract and break the dichromatid chromosomes into separate chromatids. In the fourth phase-telophase (2n2c), the division spindle and its filaments dissolve, a nucleus and nucleoli are formed, a nuclear envelope appears, organelles are distributed between 2 daughter haploid cells, chromatids unwind. Separation of the cytoplasm (cytokinesis) occurs.
