Describe the adaptation to living conditions in the soil using the example of an animal.

Soil is a special habitat. There is no light in it, it is dense, there is less oxygen in it than in the ground-air environment, temperature fluctuations are not so sharp.

A mole is a typical inhabitant of the soil. His eyes are reduced, since there is no light, which is compensated by a well-developed sense of smell. Its forelimbs are flat, covered with horny plates and have long, wide and flat claws that help the mole to dig holes in the soil. The body is elongated, and the coat is short, which does not interfere with movement.
