Describe the development of the fluke.

The description of the developmental cycle of a fluke usually begins with the entry of its fertilized eggs into the external environment along with the feces of the host. Then they must get into the water and there miracidium emerges from the egg. This larva penetrates into the intermediate host, the small pond snail, invading the internal organs. Then miracidium turns into a sporocyst. Inside it, daughter larvae develop – redia, and inside it, in turn, cercariae are formed. Cercariae leave the body of the pond snail and go out into the water. They attach to the surface of coastal plants and turn into adolescaria. Here they are eaten together with grass or water by cattle, their main owner. Once inside, they penetrate the liver and grow to a sexually mature state.
