Describe the end of the First World War.

The First World War led to the collapse of the empires: the German, Austro-Hungarian and Russian empires. The First World War turned Germany into an oppressed country, since it was forced to pay huge reparations and lost part of its territories, could not have armed forces. The First World War led to the emergence of a completely new form of government – the dictatorship of the proletariat, which led to the outbreak of revolutions in a number of countries, the most important: Russia and Germany. In general, the First World War completely changed the world picture: some states disappeared, but in their place new, modified ones, with a different territory and political structure, arose.
