Describe the natural area of the steppe.

Steppe zones appear in areas with limited humidity (for example, steppes in the southern part of Russia or in Central Asia) or with a high percentage of evaporation (African, as well as South American and Indian). In all these natural areas, herbaceous plants grow predominantly, and trees are rare. Precipitation is seasonal. Basically, steppes are formed on flat surfaces. Many large herbivores are found there, and many form huge herds.
