Describe the political power in Europe in the 16-17. C.

In Europe during this period, in most countries, an absolute monarchy prevailed: a form of government in which the power of the ruler is not limited either by parliament or by the Constitution. The monarchs of Europe no longer trusted the aristocracy and the nobility in resolving issues of public administration. The main role in these centuries belonged to an official, whose incentive to work was money. With the advent of officials, a bureaucracy began to take shape. The central government dealt with tax issues. Taxes went to the maintenance of the monarch’s support – the army.
