Describe the politics of Germany, Italy and Japan in the 1930s.

Both on the domestic and foreign policy arena, all these countries were rather heavily militarized, their goal was to seize as many new territories as possible. The most successful here, of course, was Nazi Germany, which managed to conquer most of Europe before the war with the Soviet Union. Italy was less active, but still fought, for example, in Africa. Japan also tried to create theater from countries that would be subordinate to it in Asia. As a result, common interests led all these states to a common union agreement.
