In the period from 1879 to 1882, a military-political bloc was formed, which included Italy, Austria-Hungary and Germany. This is how the Triple Alliance came into being. Such a bloc was formed due to the confrontation of the member states between other European states: England, France. A little later, the Entente was formed to counterbalance the Triple Alliance. This military bloc included France and England, and later the Russian Empire. This happened in the period from 1904 to 1907. Each of the states was guided by its own strategic interests. There were no territorial disputes and disagreements between England, France and Russia, but between the countries of the Triple Alliance, and later the Quarter Alliance, there were a lot of disagreements that led to the war.
