Describe the settlement of people from the Neolithic era.

People of the Neolithic times built small dugouts for themselves, in which the whole family lived. Sometimes a small settlement was created from a number of dugouts built. The walls of the dwelling were coated with clay. Wealthier people could afford to whitewash their home, decorate it with various patterns. Such dwellings were typical for the people of the steppe part of the territory. In the northern parts, housing was built mainly from log cabins. Such structures were less comfortable and protected, as sometimes they could not withstand the weather conditions. In the settlements, small huts were created, similar to workshops, where people could do crafts.
