Describe the structure of the fern.

Ferns generally have the following structure, which distinguishes them from other plant species. Their leaves and branches are in an intergrown state, forming a solid green branch, which is called a frond. Fronds in most herbaceous terrestrial species are attached directly to the root system in the form of a rosette. Ferns do not have real roots. Instead of these organs, they have others, rhizoids. In arboreal species, the dead parts of the wai form a trunk that can reach several meters in height.
