Antarctica refers to the mainland itself and the islands adjacent to it. Located in the southern hemisphere and washed by the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans. The approximate area is about 14,107,000 km². The highest continent is an average height of 2000 m above sea level. The relief consists of mountain ranges and depressions. Mineral resources: copper, lead, coal, iron ore, graphite, etc. There is no permanent population, only scientific stations of various countries of the world are located on the mainland.
