Determine how many times the microscope magnifies if the eyepiece is 15x and the objective is 100x.

In a magnifying device, which we call a microscope, magnifying glasses – lenses – are located in the eyepiece (the upper part of the tube, into which the researcher looks) and the objective (the lower part directed at the object of observation).
To determine the magnification factor of the microscope, you need to multiply the numbers written on the eyepiece and objective. If the eyepiece has a 15x magnification, and the objective is 100x, then this microscope magnifies 1500 times, because 15 x 100 = 1500.
