Determine the circumference of a circle whose radius is 2 dm

As we know from the current course of the school curriculum, the circumference is calculated using the following formula:

P = 2πR, where R is the radius of the circle, and the number n is usually taken equal to 3.14.

Let us determine through what number of decimeters the length of our circle will be represented, when from the condition of the task we know that its radius is two decimeters:

2 * 3.14 * 2 = 12.56.

Answer: Under such initial conditions, our circumference will be 12.56 decimeters.
