The Russian-Swedish war was aggressive for Russia. Another conflict with Sweden arose because of the confrontation between Russia and France against Britain. The Swedes turned out to be rather a pawn in the geopolitical struggle of these giants. The war ended with the victory of Russia, Finland ceded to the empire.
