One side of the parallelogram is 5.4 cm long and is 40% of its perimeter. Find the other sides of the parallelogram.

Let us determine what the perimeter of the specified parallelogram will be equal to, when from the condition of the task we know that the length of one of the sides corresponds to 40% of it:

5.4: 40 * 100 = 13.5.

From the school geometry course, we know that the sides of a parallelogram that are opposite each other will be equal.

Then one of the remaining sides will be equal to 5.4 cm.

Let’s define what each of its two remaining sides will equal:

(13.5 – 2 * 5.4): 2 = 1.35.

Answer: One = 5.4 cm, and two 1.35 cm.
