Let’s perform the calculation: Q = I ^ 2 * R * t = 5.5 ^ 2 * 1200 * 3 = 108.9 * 10 ^ 3 J (108.9 kJ).

Answer: The current in the dewatering plant has done work of 108.9 kJ.
